Saturday Round up

(March 14, 2015)

With Sidley United not in action this weekend, there were 2 other games played in Division One with the top of the table affected by the outcomes.

Leaders Mountfield United went down 1 - 0 to Hollington United II's who closed to within 3 points of Sidley in 4th place. Mountfield's defeat allowed Bexhill AAC to move to within 2 points of top spot with a game in hand following their 6 - 1 win away at Sandhurst. When we face Bexhill AAC on 11th April they may be aiming to clinch the Division title.

That defeat for Sandhurst means they are mathematically unable to catch Sidley and it appears to be between themselves and Icklesham Casuals to avoid finishing bottom.

One team who look destined to face Sidley in Division One next season is Eastbourne Rangers who have a commanding lead at the top of Division Two and seem set for promotion.
