New season line up confirmed

Sidley United's opponents in East Sussex Football League Division One for the coming season have now been confirmed.

Only Hollington United II, Ticehurst and Wadhurst United are sides we encountered last season. We took 4 points from Hollington United II, 3 from Ticehurst and 0 from Wadhurst United in our outings against these sides last year.

Eastbourne Rangers were comfortable Division Two winners last year and look to be a strong outfit.

The JC Tackleway were also promoted along with Crowhurst, Old Hastonians and Soverign Saints as the East Sussex Football League changed the leagues by dropping Division Six.

Saint Leonards I are a new side and seem set to enter the league with a strong side as well, setting up what appears to be a highly competitive Division.

The season kicks off early in September and as soon as fixtures are released, we will announce Sidley's first opponents of the season.
