Robertsbridge United Match Preview
(October 13, 2016)
Sidley United return to league action this weekend, hoping to put last week's extra time Sussex Cup exit behind them as they travel to Robertsbridge United.
It has been a mixed bag in the league for the Blues, with 2 wins and 2 defeats from their opening 4 games so far. However, that sees them sitting 6th in the table and having played some of the apparent tougher sides in the division aleady.
Robertsbridge come into the game with 3 points from their opening 5 games, and 4 defeats. Last week they went down 5 - 1 to Hawkhurst United. They have scored 10 and conceded 15 goals in their 5 league games but they do have a regularly prolific striker in Guy Ballard to contend with. Given these stats, goals should be expected on Saturday.
A victory for the Blues could potentially lift them into fifth place while Robertsbridge will be hoping to get themselves up the table with the points.
Kick off at Robertsbridge Rec is 3.00pm and the referee is Paul Hammond.
