Rock A Nore Match Preview
(November 09, 2016)
Sidley United will be looking to record back to back wins for the first time in the Premier Division this season when they entertain bottom side Rock A Nore on Saturday.
Blues managed an excellent 4 - 1 win at St Leonards Social on Saturday despite having a number of players missing and with having to use regular goalkeeper Joe Rogers in centre midfield.
That result helped the Blues up to 7th in the table and they will be hoping to take another 3 points this Saturday. Visitors Rock A Nore are bottom of the table with just 1 point from 7 matches so far this season. Last week they went down 4 - 1 at home to Robertsbridge United.
However the point they have was taken away at Ore Athletic and so they should be regarded as a side who on their day are capable of competing against the best teams in the league. Blues will have to guard against complacency and recent form to ensure they take the 3 points on offer.
Sidley are expecting a number of players missing last week to be available this weekend but Micky O'Callaghan is away and Adam Day is injured.
Kick off at Hooe Rec is 2pm and the referee is Martyn Milligan. Your support is appreciated.
