Robertsbridge United Match Preview
(December 02, 2016)
Sidley United entertain Robertsbridge United this Saturday looking to continue their positive momentum following last weeks excellent 1 - 0 win over Hollington United.
The Blues became the first side to take points from the league leaders with that result in a resolute performance and confidence should be high amongst the squad after that.
However Robertsbridge are also in good form and enjoyed a 6 - 0 win last week against Rock A Nore in the cup. They possess the top scorer in Guy Ballard and also came out victorious in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
That game saw Robertsbridge come out 4 - 1 winners in arguably Sidley's worst performance of the season and so the Blues will want to put that right with a better display this weekend. They will have to be compact again against a side who who scored 15 goals in their last 3 games.
Depending on other results a win could send Sidley up to third. Kick off at Hooe Rec is 2pm and the referee is John Walker. Your support is appreciated.
