Battle Baptists Match Preview

Two form sides meet tomorrow in the quarter finals of the Hastings FA Cup as Sidley United travel to Battle Baptists.

Baptists have come out on top in both league matches this season, recording narrow 1 - 0 and 3 - 1 victories. However since those games the Blues have developed and added some useful players to the ranks,  picking up impressive results in recent months.

Last time out Sidley cruised to a 5 - 0 win at Ore with 4 different goalscorer and perhaps more significantly a clean sheet - something that has not been so frequent this year. 

They will need to be on top form to progress through to the semi finals against a Battle side still in contention to win the league title. Last time out Battle enjoyed a 5 - 0 win in the National Christians Cup against St Albans Romans to record their 8th straight victory in all.competitions.

Kick off at Battle Rec is 1.30pm and the referee is Paul Hammond. Should the scores be level at full time, extra time will be played with the possibility of penalties.
