St Leonards Social Match Preview

Sidley United complete their maiden season in the ESFL Premier Division tomorrow with a home match against St Leonards Social. 

Blues come into the game well rested having had last weekend off. Prior to that they enjoyed a very good 2 - 0 win over Hawkhurst United.

They come into the game still with a chance of finishing in third place but will need to win their game and hope other results go their way in order to achieve this. One such result has already helped their cause though as Old Hastonians are unable to raise a side for their game against Hollington United.

Social come into the match third bottom but they still have 4 games remaining and so they will be hoping to climb the table with a realistic chance of passing at least Ore Athletic and Robertsbridge United.

The two sides have met twice this season already. Social won at Hooe Rec 4 - 1 in the Presidents Cup before Sidley exacted revenge by winning the reverse league match by the same scoreline at Tilekiln, scoring 4 second half goals.

Kick off is 3.00pm and the referee is Roy Cheshire. Refreshments are available and we hope as many people as possible come along to support the boys in their final outing of the campaign.
