A message from the Manager

Following Sidley United's success in lifting the ESFL Premier Division title, manager John Carey has given the following message.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the committee members for all their hard work. I would also like to thank Gino Forte who has secured sponsorship for us this season. These sponsors are; Devonshire Bar & Lounge, Voiture Car Sales, Dazzle Car Wash, Forte Developments, Colours Timbers - who helped pay for the pitch this season - and JFS Properties.

I would also like to thank my brother Lee for helping out with the coaching. To have him at the club I think really says a lot about how far we have come and what we are looking to achieve, so a big thank you to him.

Most of all though I would like to thank the great bunch of lads that have been loyal and worked so hard to achieve what we have so far this season.

We go again on the 4th May in the cup final and to win that as well would really round off a great year for the club. It has been an honour to manage you all over the past two years and I have really enjoyed it. We look to go again next year and push on to win more silverware.

Lastly I would also like to thank the supporters who come every week, no matter what the weather. It means a lot to me and the players so thank you all.

Please come along on the 4th May and cheer us on so we can complete our season on a massive high. Once again thank you all so much for your support."
