Sidley set for title showdown

This Saturday, we welcome Ringmer AFC to Little Common Rec in a match which could effectively all but see us secure the Mid Sussex Premier Division title.

The two sides, who have been well out in front from the beginning of the season, come into the game level on 50 points but with Ringmer having 2 matches more. 

After the game concludes, Ringmer will have only one match remaining meaning that if we win, we will be 3 points clear of them. Whilst not quite being mathematically certain of securing the crown, it would take a near 20 goal swing for us to be denied.

However, a Ringmer victory would see them go top of the table and us having our 2 games in hand to try to accumulate enough points to go back past them so it really is all set up to be a titanic showdown.

The club would be grateful for as much support as possible so please if you are looking for a free, grassroots match to enjoy then come on down to Little Common Rec. Kick off is 2pm.
