Punnetts sweep Sidley away in storm

Punnetts Town 5 - 0 Sidley United - ESFL Premier Division

Sidley United faced up to the elements once again but came away empty handed as Punnetts Town swept away with the match in stormy conditions.

With Punnetts' pitch unplayable the match was switched to Hooe Rec but the visitors made themselves at home fairly early on, taking the lead on 24 minutes.

A penalty was won and converted by Tristan Jarvis right on the stroke of half time to double Punnetts' advantage.

Into the second half and things only got worse from a Sidley perspective as Punetts grabbed three further goals including another penalty. The Blues have just 6 league matches left in their season and are going to have to dig deep to pick up enough points to retain their place in the Premier Division.
