Robertsbridge United 0 - 4 Sidley United - Macron Hastings Challenge Cup First Round

Sidley United saw off lower division Robertsbridge United with a professional performance to progress in the Macron Hastings Challenge Cup.

A Blues side which saw several debuts took some time to get going against Division Two side Robertsbridge but opened the scoring on 33 minutes when Archie Ball struck to give Sidley a lead they took into the break.

The second half saw Sidley strike early through Frankie Manning who scored on 50 minutes. Robertsbridge rallied and struck the crossbar in their best moment of the game.

Two quickfire goals made the game safe for Sidley though as Adam Smith scored on 67 moinutes before Fin Jack scored on 71 minutes to round off the sccoring and put Sidley into Round Two.

No game currently for the Blues next week.
