FA Cup ends at First hurdle
(August 15, 2010)
The Blues hopes of good run in this season's FA Cup were ended this afternoon when second division Lancing triumphed 3-0 in a game played at Hailsham Town's Beaconsfield ground.
The game changed on a refereeing division after 15 mins when the returning Alan Mcminigal was shown a straight red card for a late challenge, the feeling was it was a yellow card but the referee deemed it reckless enough to dismiss the blues winger.
The visitors opened the scoring shortly after and added to late goals in the second half as the blues pushed more and more men forward in search of an equalizer but when the luck is not with you its not with you, so we now look forward to Tuesday's tought looking trip to Peachaven with league points at stake.
