Bittersweet night as Blues progress

Sidley United had an eventful night as they won 2 - 0 away at Oakwood in the SCFA Senior Cup First Round.

First half goals from Sean Kelly and Dan Spice put the Blues in command, and they never looked like surrendering it. Jason Kelly and Danny Woodley up front caused Oakwood all kinds of problems and the Blues could really have had many more than 2.

The night was tarnished somewhat by the unnecessary red card picked up by Nathan Harding for foul and abusive language, which took the gloss off an impressive performance. Special mention should go to Harry Killick who had an excellent game and Mark Chandler who had an excellent debut.
