Reserves cruise to victory
(November 06, 2010)
The Reserves notched up their 8th league victory on the trot to keep up the pressure on league leaders Rye United with a 2 -0 victory over bottom side Pease Pottage.
A Blues side which again featured Hastings United skipper Sean Ray at the heart of the defence were comfortable throughout the game as they kept their third clean sheet in a row, and in all fairness could and should have added to the scoreline.
The goals both came in the first period firstly Asher Grindle prodding home from close range and the second coming from Carl Morris having latched onto a half cleared corner to smash the ball home from close range.
