Promotions and Relegations confirmed

The Sussex County League have now confirmed the resolution of the promotion/relegation issues that everyone has been waiting for.

Champions Crawley Down have been promoted to the Isthmian South league, whilst Horsham YMCA return to Division One following their relegation.

Eastbourne United will be joined in Division Two by Hailsham Town and Wick who both failed ground grading inspections and their places in Division One will be taken by AFC Uckfield, Lancing and Worthing United and this allowed Shoreham, St Francis Rangers and Selsey to be reprieved. Local rivals Bexhill United missed out on joining us in Division One after finishing fourth.

This means that the teams Sidley United will face in the league next season are:

AFC Uckfield, Arundel, Chichester City, Crowborough Athletic, East Grinstead Town, Hassocks, Horsham YMCA, Lancing, Lingfield, Pagham, Peacehaven & Telscombe, Redhill, Ringmer, Rye United, Selsey, Shoreham, St Francis Rangers, Three Bridges, Worthing United.
