Clarke & Darbs Sign on as squad takes shape

 John Lambert was delighted that after last nights game at Newhaven both Dommy Clarke and Matt Darby put pen to paper and signed for the Blues.

Darby who was at the club when they won promotion into division 2 in 2010 spent last season at Eastbourne Borough, the cultured Midfelder showed last night he will be a big hit back at the Gullivers.

Clarke is a Prolific scorer in the county league at all levels, and was Bexhill United's leading scorer with 24 goals last season. He spent the second half of last season at Ryman South Burgess Hill.

Lambert commented "They will improve us no-end, they were two of our main targets at the start of the summer and are pleased to have them on board."
