Heath provide tough final workout

Division Three Haywards Heath provided the Blues with a tough final pre-season workout ahead of the big kick off on Saturday away at Worthing United.
The hosts took an early lead after poor defending form a free kick. The Blues soon levelled through Dommy Clarkes 4th in 4 games as they took control of the first half.
Into the second period and again the Blues were on top and Billy Trickett put the visitors ahead after good work from Clarke and Matt Darby.
Two became 3 when sub Kevin Bird scored with a fine head from a corner. Heath who looked dangerous throughout the contest scored a consolation late on.
On this showing the hosts will be among the front runners in Division three this season, for the Blues its onto Lyons way for the opening league.
