Last gasp equaliser denies Blues
(November 28, 2012)
Sidley United stopped East Grinstead Town's 7 match winning streak with a credible 1 - 1 draw and were only denied a win by a stoppage time equaliser.
In the Blues first outing for a couple of weeks due to the weather, it was an even first half which ended goalless.
Sidley struck first early in the second half when Jack Cooper's goalbound header was deflected into the net by a home defender.
East Grinstead pressed trying to get the equaliser but they had to wait until the 93rd minute before it came, breaking Sidley hearts in the process.
However a tough away point against a team in form is a good result and brings us many positives as we move forward.
