Blues beaten at relegation rivals Dorking
(March 09, 2013)
Sidley United slumped to a defeat against relegation rivals Dorking Wanderers and slipped to fifth bottom on Saturday.
Blues were behind after just a few minues as a simple move down the right saw the ball crossed in to Liam Holden who finished off the move.
Blues found themselves two down on the strok of half time as Michael Death's sweet volley flew past Nessling in the Sidley goal.
Sidley steadied themeselves after the break but never looked like scoring in what manager John Lambert described as the worst first half performance from his side of the season. The result leaves us deep in the relegation mire, just a few points above the drop zone.
Sidley Team: Nessling, Willett, Rose, Cooper, Cruikshank, Agutter, Martin, A Darby, Hales, Taylor, Payne.
