Blues face Ticehurst in season opener

Sidley United begin the new ESFL season on Saturday 5th September with an opening day trip to Ticehurst.

Last year's early season encouters saw Ticehurst win 5 - 3 in the league before knocking us out of cup competition 4 - 2. However later in the season a revitalised Sidley gained revenge, winning 2 - 1 at Bell Field in the return league game, part of an end of season sequence that saw Sidley win 5 on the bounce.

Following the season opener, Sidley will have their first home game of the season on Saturday 12th September when we welcome newly promoted Crowhurst, one of 6 new teams we will face in the division this season.

Both matches are a 3.00pm kick off.
