J.C Tackleway Match Preview
(October 15, 2015)
Sidley United head to Barley Lane on Saturday to face J.C Tackleway as they look to make it 6 wins out of 6 in the league.
Tackleway have 7 points from 4 league games so far and in their last league match recovered from 3 - 1 down to draw 3 - 3 at AFC Hastings. Last week they beat Hastings Rangers 4 - 0 in cup competition.
Tackleway have two players amongst the league's top scorers so far this season - Charlie Cornford and Michel Burgess both with 5 to their name. They have scored 15 and conceded 12 in their 4 league games so far.
Sidley of course come into the match 6 points clear at the top of the table after last week's 2 - 0 win over AFC Hastings. In fact if you go back into the end of last season, Sidley are 10 league matches unbeaten.
Blues have the best defensive record across any of the divisions with just 3 goals conceded from 5 league matches, with back to back clean sheets registered in their last 2 games. If Sidley can make it 6 wins in a row this season, they will remain at least 6 points clear going into a month long hiatus from league action after the game.
Next weekend Sidley have no fixture. On the 31st of October Sidley travel to Partidge Green I in the Sussex FA Junior Cup and are again without a fixture on 7th of November, meaning they won't return to league action until at least November 14th.
